Laurens was a wonderful man whose friendship, over so many years, was cherished. He had a witty sense of humor and a passion for creating, making, and sharing. We shared the love of making and materials.
Laurens was never far from his best mate Geoff Hannah, and the pair of them shared a passion for woodworking and teaching workshops together and pranking when they could.
Japanisome, a passion, was part of his everyday life, in his garden, cooking, skiing, and his sense of design and style.
Laurens, you were an incredible artist, your work will live on to inspire and impress, much loved and will be missed.
