I’m currently creating a new series of pieces to be part of the group e.g.etal exhibition “Underground Movement” to be held 4 to 24 August 2018.
This exhibition is part of Craft Cubed.
This exhibition celebrates Melbourne as HOME. It’s a city of flux and flow. Particularly at the moment while subterranean spaces are being hollowed out and reimagined as we address the issues of a growing population.
For this exhibition, Underground Movement, designs for a piece/pieces that celebrate the beauty of movement, change and transformation will be featured. Kinetic and surprising, these pieces will feature parts that spin, swing, open, shut, fold, collapse or unfurl. Conceptually, each piece will reference the process of transformation from one state to another. The main emphasis of each piece will be movement. Incorporate an element that moves in some way.
